Digital health, data science and artificial intelligence have had a transformative impact on healthcare, from discovery to clinical care to administration. But the benefits of health technology are unequally distributed and the digital divide is growing wider.

Achieving techquity--the intentional design, access and availability of health technology to advance health equity, will require a deep examination of processes and assumptions prevalent in healthcare today. Gain insights into how leading institutions are rethinking technology to ingrain techquity into healthcare and medicine.

In this webinar, learn to identify ways to support techquity in your organization by:

  1.  Breaking down silos and establishing relationships between disconnected stakeholders responsible for selection, development and/or distribution of tech and data tools
  2. Advocating for techquity to become a prominent organizational priority, with visible leadership support
  3. Examining approach, accountability and communications around goals for diversity, inclusion and belonging in the workforce; community relations; and environmental and social governance, which influence or are influenced by techquity practices
  4. Establishing an approach for interrogating algorithms in use or under consideration
  5. Creating a culture of ‘day 1’ inclusion and representation for employees as well as patients/members/providers/community members and other stakeholders in access, design and delivery of tech-enabled healthcare
  6. Regularly evaluating progress
  7. Offering learning opportunities on health equity, health disparities, social determinants of health, and the digital divide
  8. As an organization, acknowledging shared history of discrimination in healthcare and medicine
