Telstra Health Partners With Salesforce to Unify Digital Health

Telstra Health has partnered with Salesforce and Snowflake to enhance its digital health ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand, joining existing collaborator Smile Digital Health. These partnerships support Telstra Health’s modernisation initiative aimed at creating a unified platform for clinicians, patients, and carers.

The expanded collaboration is part of Telstra Health’s strategy to tackle fragmentation in the healthcare system by promoting connectivity, clinical excellence, scalability, security, and interoperability. Managing Director Elizabeth Koff AM emphasized the importance of accessible, comprehensive health records and noted that partnering with experts in scalable, standards-based technologies will help drive innovation and deliver greater value to customers.

The integration with Salesforce will combine Telstra Health’s healthcare expertise with Salesforce’s global digital platform, incorporating tools like Health Cloud and MuleSoft to streamline patient-provider data exchange. Chief Technology Officer Farhoud Salimi highlighted shared values around data integrity and trust as key drivers of the partnership.

Snowflake will provide the common data and analytics layer to unify Telstra Health’s various datasets, enabling actionable insights and supporting future AI applications. Meanwhile, Smile Digital Health continues to play a critical role in ensuring interoperability through its standards-based Health Data Platform.

Together, these partnerships aim to transform healthcare collaboration, support continuity of care, and position Telstra Health as a global leader in digital health by 2030.
