TELUS Health Acquires Workplace Options in $500M Strategic Expansion

TELUS Health has finalized its acquisition of Workplace Options for approximately $500M (US$350M) in cash, net of around $100M (US$70M) in assumed debt. The strategic partnership with private equity firm GTCR, which brings over four decades of healthcare investment experience, supports this significant expansion with an additional US$200 million investment.

The acquisition dramatically extends TELUS Health's global reach, positioning the company as one of the largest providers of digital-first health and wellbeing services worldwide. With Workplace Options' network spanning 200 countries and territories, the combined entity will now support over 150 million lives across all channels and global verticals.
