Medicare Expands Coverage for Cleerly’s AI-Driven Cardiac Scans

In a major advancement for cardiovascular care, several Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) have approved coverage for Cleerly's AI-enabled Quantitative Coronary Topography (AI-QCT) scans. This decision, effective November 2024, expands access to Cleerly's innovative technology for approximately 34 million Medicare beneficiaries at risk of heart attacks.

The new coverage allows Cleerly Labs Plaque Analysis to be used in diagnosing coronary artery disease (CAD), particularly for patients with chest pain or CAD-RADS 1-3 scores. By facilitating early and accurate diagnosis, the AI-powered scans can lead to timely interventions and improved health outcomes for seniors.

Cleerly's AI-QCT offers a precise, standardized assessment of coronary plaque through noninvasive Cardiac CT Angiography. This technology reduces variability in results and accelerates diagnosis, making it a promising tool in clinical decision-making. Cleerly’s CEO hailed the approval as a milestone in enhancing senior cardiac care.
