Wisp and Nourish Join Forces to Enhance Women's Weight Management Services

Women's telehealth provider Wisp has established a strategic partnership with Nourish, a food as medicine platform, to deliver integrated weight management services. The collaboration enables Wisp patients to access nutrition counseling through their health insurance coverage or through reduced self-pay rates.

The partnership enhances Wisp's weight care program by combining medical interventions with personalized nutrition support. Patients can access various GLP-1 treatment options, including semaglutide (Wegovy) injections, compounded semaglutide formulations, and metabolic support supplements, while receiving customized nutritional guidance from Nourish's registered dietitians.

According to Wisp CEO Monica Cepak, the initiative addresses a significant market gap in affordable, comprehensive solutions for women experiencing hormonal weight gain. The integrated approach provides patients with personalized care plans, ongoing coaching, and progress monitoring. As part of the collaboration, Nourish patients will receive exclusive discounts on Wisp's prescription and over-the-counter products.

The partnership emerges amid significant growth for both companies. Wisp recently reported serving over one million patients and achieving a 69% four-year compound annual growth rate. The company expanded its services in 2024, introducing multiple new products including a fertility vertical and membership program. Meanwhile, Nourish has strengthened its food as medicine program through a partnership with Modify Health, enabling nationwide access to medically tailored meals prescribed by registered dietitians.

This development aligns with broader trends in women's healthcare, which Cepak notes is evolving to address reproductive rights and care access in the post-Roe environment. The sector has seen increased focus on chronic conditions, perimenopause, and menopause, supported by advances in telehealth, wearables, and artificial intelligence technologies.
