Dr. Lu de Souza is a Vice President &Chief Medical Officer for Cerner’s Clinical Leadership Team. Her team is responsible for helping health organizations leverage their EHR and health IT to achieve their strategic goals, with a focus on improving care delivery, clinician engagement, and clinical outcomes, with better usability andefficiency. She mentors and grows physician leaders in these organizations, striving for clinically integrated governance models of shared accountability, and technology-related burden reduction. She’s passionate aboutadvancing healthcare information systems and innovations, especially in pediatrics, and applying learnings from different healthcare systems around the globe.Lu joined Cerner in 2011, holding various leadership positions prior to becoming Chief Medical Officer of Cerner’s largest Physician division. She was a Pediatric ED Medical Director, and held medical and pediatric teaching positions. At Cerner, she continues to facilitate workshops on Physician Leadership Development and ClinicianBurnout. Prior to joining Cerner, Lu practiced pediatric emergency medicine at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Brandon Regional Hospital, and pediatric hospital medicine at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Medical College of Virginia Hospital Systems. She has 20+ years of end-user experience with various EHRs, as well as extensiveexperience in clinical design, implementation and adoption. Lu earned her Bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics from The Ohio State University, her Medical degree from Wright State University, and completed Pediatric Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also served as Pediatric Chief Resident. Through her time at Cerner, Lu also practiced part-time pediatric care at Lakeland Regional, Brandon Memorial, CHOC Children’s, and on mission trips.

Equideum Health (formerly ConsenSys Health), is a ConsenSys partner and Mesh portfolio company creating Web3 person-centered healthcare and research networks.  Dr. Vigilance has deep expertise including population health strategy where he couples his broad experience with an ability to create novel partnerships and solutions for entrenched problems faced by underserved populations. At Equideum Health, Dr. Vigilance also serves as the company’s lead for its Health Utility Grid (HUG) program,  and Executive Director of its new Non-Profit. This calls for relationship development and engagement of a diverse network of aligned partners from multiple sectors.

Prior to his UC Davis Health appointment, Atreja, a gastroenterologist, served as the chief innovation officer for the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. At Mount Sinai, Atreja established one of the first innovation hubs within an academic medical center to build and test disruptive digital health technologies – those that transform the industry.

In her role as a Managing Director at Tegria, she brings her passion for conceptualizing and implementing innovative solutions that drive quality and performance improvement to optimize patient outcomes. Theresa developed Tegria’s offering that helps healthcare organizations prioritize and operationalize their health equity strategy and mitigate the harmful effects of implicit bias through macro-simulation. Prior to joining Tegria, Theresa drove the formation and expansion of InSytu, a national leader in clinical process improvement consulting powered by macro-simulation. She also served as the Director of Women and Infants Outpatient Services at Swedish Health Services in Seattle. Theresa earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Washington and is a certified childbirth and parenting educator and doula.
