Abner Mason is the founder and CEO of SameSky Health, a cultural experience company that forms meaningful relationships to bring people to health. He has spent decades working to reduce barriers to care faced by underserved people nationally and internationally, from the federal to the local level. He currently sits on the Boards of Manifest MedEx and the California Black Health Network, and is a member of United States of Care’s Founders Council, the American Medical Association’s External Equity and Innovation Advisory Group, and HIMSS’ Social Determinants of Health Committee. Abner is also the founder of HealthTech 4 Medicaid.

Mr. Deming joined VMware in September 2018. He is responsible for understanding the key business initiatives, regulatory environment and industry drivers for the Healthcare Payer market to enable Payer's to achieve their strategic outcomes through the implementation of VMware solutions. Mr. Deming was most recently a Director of Application Development for Aetna located in the Greater Boston Area. In his role he provided strategic leadership to deliver solutions for the migration and integration of the people, process, and technologies as part of the merger and acquisition of Coventry Healthcare. Mr. Deming has been in healthcare for 24 years, spending the last 20 years working in healthcare payer IT organizations and a healthcare payer software vendor. He held leadership roles at IDX Systems, Coventry Healthcare, and Aetna. He began his healthcare journey in service and sales at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Mr. Deming is a hands-on technology leader with a strong service orientation and has diverse experience in software engineering including application support, design, development, governance and technical strategy. He has proven to be a trusted advisor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and building high-performing, selfdirecting teams. Mr. Deming is a current board member for the Boston chapter of Society for Information Management, providing networking, professional development, and community outreach opportunities for IT leaders in the greater Boston area.
