Margaret is President and CEO of Hopelab where she leads a multidisciplinary team combining behavioral science, user-centered design and partnership with innovators to create technology products to help improve health and well-being for teens and young adults. In 2020 Hopelab launched an external investments practice, investing in companies focused on mental health and wellbeing of teens and young adults with a specific focus on BIPOC LGBTQ+ young people. Prior to Hopelab, Margaret spent 17 years at the California HealthCare Foundation in a number of roles, including Director of Public Financing and Policy and Director of the Innovations for the Underserved program. She founded the CHCF Health Innovation Fund, a mission-focused fund investing in health care technology and service companies that improve access to and lower costs of health care. Prior to CHCF, Margaret held positions with Accenture, the World Health Organization, Mentor Clinical Care and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Margaret holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and an A.B. in English Literature from Princeton University. Margaret is a lecturer in entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She serves on the boards of Health Leads and Project Glimmer and is an adviser to Acumen America, United States of Care, Consejo Sano, and Galileo Health.

As a humanist technologist, educator and writer, Mica’s work uses an intersectional lens to explore the relationship between technology and art. Rob Morris, PhD is co-founder of Koko, a nonprofit dedicated to ending the youth mental health crisis. Koko works with large social networks to reach young people where they are ‚Äî online ‚Äî and provides free digital interventions.¬†Koko has reached over two million people, mostly adolescents, and has partnered with many of the world‚Äôs largest tech platforms, including Tumblr, TikTok, and Twitch, among others.¬†Rob received his AB in psychology from Princeton University and his master's and PhD from MIT.¬†At MIT, he pioneered a new form of digital cognitive therapy, designed to reach millions of people safely and effectively.¬†He has published over 20 academic publications, including two randomized trials.Rob is also an award-winning designer and inventor. His work has been featured in Wired, NPR, and Fast Company, among others.
