Sid Viswanathan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Truepill. Sid founded Truepill in 2016 with a mission to transform consumer healthcare. The company shipped its first prescription six years ago and has since expanded its services to include telehealth, diagnostics, and pharmacy, creating innovative solutions for leading companies and delivering convenient, accessible care to their consumers. In 2021, Sid was named one of Business Insider’s 30 under 40 leaders in healthcare and a winner of EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Northern California Award. Truepill has also been featured on CNBC’s Disruptor 50, Rock Health’s Top 50 in Digital Health, and Fierce Healthcare’s Fierce 15 lists. Prior to Truepill, Sid founded CardMunch, a business-card scanning app that was acquired by LinkedIn soon after its founding. After its acquisition, Sid joined LinkedIn as a Product Manager and saw CardMunch named one of Time Magazine’s Best Apps of 2012. Sid started his career in Johnson & Johnson’s Global Operations Leadership Development program, working in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Barnes is responsible for Ro’s clinical strategy as well as the quality and patient safety initiatives on its vertically integrated primary care platform. In providing clinical leadership for Ro, she also oversees the clinical product strategy, shaping the company’s proprietary EMR and technology tools it offers providers, and physical product innovation, supporting the development of new health and wellness products.Since joining Ro in 2018, Dr. Barnes has held various leadership roles and has helped transform Ro from a telehealth platform treating a single condition to a vertically integrated platform that seamlessly connects telehealth, pharmacy, and in-home care services nationwide. Her clinical expertise has been integral in the development of Ro’s technological infrastructure, including its COVID-19 telehealth assessment, in-home vaccine program, and its automated auditing system that helps providers on Ro’s platform deliver safe and appropriate care. Dr. Barnes is a double board-certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Otolaryngologist. In addition to her leadership role at Ro, Dr. Barnes was an attending physician at Harlem Hospital where she was honored with the Top Doctor Award for New York State in 2018. Dr. Barnes earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she was a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow. Prior to Ro, she was an Assistant Professor of Surgery-Otolaryngology at Yale School of Medicine and served on Yale Medical Group's Board of Directors. Dr. Barnes has been recognized as one of Fierce Healthcare’s Most Influential Minority Executives and a 40 Under 40 Leader in Health. She has been invited to speak at Harvard Business School and the American Telemedicine Association National Conference and has been featured in Fast Company, Fortune, Forbes, Shape and more. Dr. Barnes is a founding member of CHIEF, a network of female executives, and is on the board of the Fund for Public Health in New York City.

Amanda is the CEO and ScriptDrop’s first employee. Responsible for the sales, marketing, and business development teams, Amanda also leads innovation for ScriptDrop’s clients in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

Before joining ScriptDrop, Amanda earned a degree in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University and MBA from Franklin University. She went on to rise through the ranks at CoverMyMeds, a healthcare IT company that sold for more than 1 billion dollars to McKesson Corporation in 2017. Amanda played an integral role in the company’s exponential growth during her eight-year tenure, and eventually became Director of New Product Implementation.

Amanda’s ardent entrepreneurial spirit is demonstrated by her foundation Go Get the World, an organization that supports and empowers women to chase their dreams.

Experience Carmine Petrone joined Advent in 2010 and focuses on making investments in the healthcare and healthcare technology sectors. Prior to Advent, Carmine worked for Thomas H. Lee Partners, where he was a generalist investor with a focus on leveraged buyouts in the financial and business services and healthcare industries. He has also spent time working in the hedge fund industry. He started his career in investment banking with Citigroup Global Markets where he was a member of the Global Health Care team. Carmine has a BA from the Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Vish Sankaran leads and advances Walgreens Boots Alliance’s (WBA) innovation strategy across its business operations, digital transformation, and new growth business platforms. Under Vish’s leadership, WBA is working to transform into a consumer-driven healthcare company, bringing together WBA’s strengths and assets, with partnerships across payors, providers, suppliers, and technology companies. He is also leading WBA’s three-phase transformation and growth effort which includes 1) transforming the technology infrastructure; 2) next generation consumer acquisition and experience solutions; and 3) the design, development, and operational rollout of a technology-enabled healthcare services business, offering omnichannel personalized consumer engagement, population health and delegated risk management, and integrated care delivery solutions across clinic, retail, virtual, and home.

Vish is a veteran in the healthcare business and technology industry with extensive strategic and operational experience across payors, providers, pharmacy, population health and risk management, product and technology development, and Health/IT Policy. He has spent 24 years in the private sector and U.S. federal government working to transform healthcare by making consumer and clinical outcomes central to patient care-related conversations. Prior to joining WBA, he founded and served as Managing Director of Ayus Health Inc., a health strategy and product development firm. Before Ayus Health, he was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer for CareMore, an Anthem company. Vish also spent more than seven years with the U.S. government in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the White House’s Office of Management and Budget, finding ways to enhance and streamline healthcare programs to be more accessible and efficient for the patients who depend on them. Vish has been a long-time practitioner of effective use of business operations to implement faster time-to-market (TTM) techniques, consumer-centric products and services, greater return on investments (ROI), talent, and next generation technologies to improve shareholder and citizen value.
