In 2021, Sid was named one of Business Insider’s 30 under 40 leaders in healthcare and a winner of EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Northern California Award. Truepill has also been featured on CNBC’s Disruptor 50, Rock Health’s Top 50 in Digital Health, and Fierce Healthcare’s Fierce 15 lists. Prior to Truepill, Sid founded CardMunch, a business-card scanning app that was acquired by LinkedIn soon after its founding. After its acquisition, Sid joined LinkedIn as a Product Manager and saw CardMunch named one of Time Magazine’s Best Apps of 2012. Sid started his career in Johnson & Johnson’s Global Operations Leadership Development program, working in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. In addition to her leadership role at Ro, Dr. Barnes was an attending physician at Harlem Hospital where she was honored with the Top Doctor Award for New York State in 2018. Dr. Barnes earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she was a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow. Prior to Ro, she was an Assistant Professor of Surgery-Otolaryngology at Yale School of Medicine and served on Yale Medical Group's Board of Directors. Dr. Barnes has been recognized as one of Fierce Healthcare’s Most Influential Minority Executives and a 40 Under 40 Leader in Health.
