Tech-first or Bust: A Move to Modernized Operations
Dr Stephanie Lahr is the CIO and CMIO at Monument Health,based in Rapid City, South Dakota. She joined Monument Health in April 2016, and in her dual role is responsible for the support of applied informatics across the health system as well as the digital innovation strategy and leadership of the Information Technology Division. Dr Lahr is an experienced informaticist, change agent and leader. Her passion lies at the intersection of improving healthcare delivery through the use of technology. She is currently a member of the CHIME board, the Epic Community Connect Steering Board, she is on the South Dakota state HIE board, and is active member of AMDIS and remains connected to her community as board member for the local United Way. Dr Lahr is also and advocate and mentor for women in HealthIT and has shared her experience and advice on several podcasts and educational sessions.

Dr. YiDing Yu, MD, is a practicing physician, skilled business operator, and passionate public speaker experienced with launching and scaling innovations across the healthcare ecosystem. In YiDing’s current role as Olive’s Chief Medical Officer, she supports the development and go-to-market of our solutions and is a key spokesperson for Olive’s vision and mission. YiDing has won top innovation prizes from the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, and the Cleveland Clinic. She was also named woman entrepreneur of the year in 2018 by the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards.YiDing earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard University and her Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine.

Ryan Nellis is the Vice President and General Manager at Stanson Health, a Premier Inc. company. In this role he leads a team of clinicians, engineers and data science experts who work together to deliver AI-infused solutions to improve patient care and health costs via a growing client network of over 650 hospitals and 400,000 physicians. The team designs bespoke, scalable clinical decision support solutions that help optimize complex care processes enable appropriate documentation and also ensure patients get the best treatment options at the lowest price.
Ryan joined Stanson/Premier from Optum, a subsidiary of United Health Group. At Optum, Ryan led teams bringing multi-million dollar software-as-a-service solutions into the provider and payer markets. Prior to Optum, Ryan was part of the early team at Humedica and held roles with McKesson and GE Healthcare.

She has an MSPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she was a Delta Omega Alpha scholar and a BS from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Anita has worked in diverse sectors with both the private and non-profit arenas for more than two decades.  As Managing Director for Rex Health Ventures, she leads a team for the venture arm of UNC Health to spur innovation in healthcare through strategic equity investments in early stage companies. 
Anita serves on multiple boards of companies and organizations, including Biostable Science and Engineering, ReDiscovery Life Sciences, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, Innovate Raleigh, & NCSU Chancellor’s Innovation Fund.  She was recently awarded an Eisenhower Fellowship to focus on methods to support female entrepreneurs.
