Dr Stephanie Lahr is the CIO and CMIO at Monument Health,based in Rapid City, South Dakota. She joined Monument Health in April 2016, and in her dual role is responsible for the support of applied informatics across the health system as well as the digital innovation strategy and leadership of the Information Technology Division. Dr Lahr is an experienced informaticist, change agent and leader. Her passion lies at the intersection of improving healthcare delivery through the use of technology. She is currently a member of the CHIME board, the Epic Community Connect Steering Board, she is on the South Dakota state HIE board, and is active member of AMDIS and remains connected to her community as board member for the local United Way. Dr Lahr is also and advocate and mentor for women in HealthIT and has shared her experience and advice on several podcasts and educational sessions.

As senior vice president and chief information officer, Dr. Zafar Chaudry provides vision and leadership for the development of technology initiatives and enterprise-wide information systems and services for Seattle Children’s. His goal is to enable clinicians with the best technology to deliver safe and excellent care to our patients.  Chaudry, who began his career as a physician, brings to Seattle Children’s over 25 years’ worth of experience in healthcare informatics with a strong technical, business and international standards–based approach to IT. He has worked in senior IT roles in startups globally and served as faculty at the City Colleges of Chicago. He then became CIO of Europe’s largest women’s hospital (Liverpool Women’s) and its largest children’s hospital (Alder Hey), both in Liverpool, England. He moved on to serving as research director for global healthcare at Gartner. Most recently, he was CIO at Cambridge University Hospitals in the United Kingdom.  Chaudry earned his MD from Ross University. He subsequently earned his MS in healthcare management and policy from the University of Birmingham, his MIS in information systems management from the University of Salford and his MBA from Aston University, all in the U.K.

He leverages the benefits of IT to solve complex business issues while managing costs, minimizing risks and assisting with organizational change management and process reengineering projects. An industry veteran and well-respected thought leader, with more than 26 years of executive and hands-on IT experience, Crowder joined Atrium Health in June 2019. Previously, he served as the Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Scripps Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in San Diego, California. Additional prior roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Maine Health, the largest healthcare organization in Maine and a leading healthcare provider serving northern New Hampshire; as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Florida Hospital, one of America’s largest hospitals.Crowder received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Kaplan University and is currently pursuing his Masters in Executive Leadership with Purdue University. Additionally, he is a CHIME certified Chief Information Officer.
